4 OPTIONS FOR A COMFORTABLE MOBILITY SCOOTER
Scoozy has a universal seat with some adjustability. By making the seat universal, we could keep the seat as slim as possible and thereby make the design more attractive. We also wanted the user to support their weight on the armrest when getting in. The construction required for this prevents you from adjusting the backrest angle. There are four adjustments and settings possible:
- Joystick left or right
- 3-speed levels (level 1 to 3)
- 3 seat heights
- 2 types of cushions
Below we explain these possibilities in more detail.
1. JOYSTICK LEFT OR RIGHT ON THE MOBILITY SCOOTER
Before we assemble Scoozy, you determine which side the joystick is positioned on. It is impossible to place the joystick and control panel on the same side. We know that this is challenging if you have a one-sided arm/hand function when operating the turn signals.
2. HOW TO MAKE YOUR MOBILITY SCOOTER GO FASTER
Whether you like a sporty ride or comfortable touring, you can personalise the steering of your Scoozy. Choose from 3 skill levels in the menu. Level 1 provides a smooth driving experience for first-time users. It helps to start in level 1 when you are not used to joystick steering. We recommend that you only change the settings after some practice and when you feel confident enough. Level 3 makes the Scoozy scooter sporty and faster with a higher maximum speed (max. 15 km/h) and acceleration.
3. MOBILITY SCOOTER SEAT DIMENSIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS
The seat height can be adjusted to 3 different heights at Scoozy: 41 cm, 43 cm (standard) and 45 cm. The seat hight of 41 centimeter is not possible in combination with the luggage rack under the seat. The space between the armrests is 43 cm. Scoozy has a maximum user weight of 150 kg. When you are a bit heavier, this might be too narrow. Make sure to try it by making a test drive
4. THE CHOICE OF SEAT CUSHIONS
The Scoozy seat has an ergonomically shaped seat with the cushion attached with Velcro. You can choose between a Comfort pillow or an Outdoor pillow. You can also put an AD pillow on it (for example, Vicair).
Scoozy is standard equipped with the Comfort cushion from soft Pantera foam with a ventilating 3D cover. The disadvantage of this seat cushion is that it absorbs water.
You can also opt for the Ventisitoutdoor cushion. The Ventisit cushion is made of three-dimensional knitted polyester yarn. You don’t have to worry about a sweaty back in the summer with the ventilating material in the summer. Rainwater is not absorbed and falls through the cushion. This material is a bit harder and, therefore, perhaps less comfortable.
